All Natural Aluminum-Free LATHER Deodorant Review
Happy Monday friends! Today, I'm sharing a review on an all natural aluminum-free deodorant from Lather that I posted about on Instagram last week. I got a lot of requests for a full review, so here it is! About a week and a half or two ago, this all natural aluminum-free deodorant showed up on my doorstep from Lather. I've always been very intrigued by natural deodorants that are free of aluminum. I know we've all probably heard the terrors of using deodorants full of bad chemicals that are harmful to our body so I was very excited to give this a try. As you probably already know, I've been in a little bit of a skincare kick these past few month, and honestly, between you and me, my skin has never looked or felt better. If you missed it, I shared a skincare review of a chia seed trio of Lather skincare products on the blog here, and my new nighttime skincare routine for spring here. Anyhow, you're probably thinking, skincare and deodorant. How does that even tie in together? Well, I've been using a couple of Lather products in my skincare routine every morning and night that have completely transformed my skin, which means I'm a pretty big fan of the brand and love the fact that they only use high quality natural ingredients in their products. Have we been trained to use deodorants on a stick our entire life? When I first pulled this deodorant out of its packaging I almost didn't know what to think of it because it comes in a little container. I've always wanted to try natural deodorant though, I mean, it only makes sense right? I enjoy putting thought and effort into everything I consume to make sure that it is beneficial for my body, why wouldn't I do the same with the products I use on the outside of my body too. Upon opening the lid of this little canister, I was pleasantly surprised. Lavender & bergamot are both such nice scents paired together. Lather only uses natural ingredients, most are organic! Organic lavender oil and bergamot oil are used to give this deodorant its wonderful scent. Can I tell you how awesome this deo really is? It smells incredible and comes in the form of a cream. You're supposed to scoop out a pea sized amount for each underarm and rub it in until it disappears. It leaves no feeling of residue and I love that it's not sticky at all. It dries off powdery, which is probably my favorite thing about it. Of course, before trying this out, I had been using regular deodorant so it took a few days to get used to this one, but now I can't put it down. It leaves you feeling clean and smelling oh-so fresh. I always make sure to apply in the morning, after a shower, and right before bed.
Have you ever tried out a natural deodorant? I highly recommend this one. I'm actually thinking of getting an extra one for my mom to put into a gift basket I'm putting together for Mother's Day coming up. I'm sure she's going to love it.
As always, thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by. See you back here on Wednesday for a brand new post.
