BIRTHDAY REFLECTION

Tomorrow is my birthday. Another year older, another year wiser, right? I still remember celebrating my birthday as a child with my family. I would sit behind a birthday cake smiling from ear to ear while my mom took photos and everyone else crowded around singing happy birthday. All I could say is that time goes by SO fast! I can't really complain though, 25 years on this planet has taught me a lot of valuable lessons. I've learned a few things and grown a lot from different experiences. I try to live a healthy, happy life and show tons of love to those closest to me. I've learned that the only person who can stand up for yourself is you. We are so much stronger than we think we are! I've learned to be kind and compassionate towards others because I don't know what kind of struggles they may be going through. This past year, as a 25 year old I celebrated my third year wedding anniversary. I found my passion for creating content and curating photos (and sharing them with you all!). I also went to San Diego for the first time ever! Shocking, I know. I live in Southern California and it took me 25 years to travel from Los Angeles to San Diego! I was also able to launch this blog, which had been on my bucket list such a long time. I've learned that dedication takes effort but it's all worth it in the end. I was lucky enough to find a couple of talented women who are not only incredibly talented but show so much support to each other through social media. They radiate kindness and they truly sparkle from the inside out. Nowadays, that is so rare to see because there is so much bullying going on online and I am so incredibly grateful to have them in my life. After 25 years, I am so thankful and blessed to live the life I am able to live and I cannot wait to see what the next year in my life holds. Hoping for tons of laughs, smiles, quality time with loved ones, and lots of love, bouquets of flowers, and sparkles. Here's to 26!

XO Karen

P.S. Thanks for stopping by and reading along, your support means the world to me.

P.S.S. I still don't know what I'm doing to celebrate my birthday tomorrow. My husband has something planned and won't say a word about it. After 4 years of planning birthdays and ruining the surprises by giving me hints (I'm really good at guessing!), I guess he learned not to say a word about it. It's driving me crazy not knowing the surprise though! Hahaha! Make sure to follow me on Instagram (@forallthingspretty) so I could keep you updated on my birthday surprise. I'm so excited!
