Happy Wednesday, gal pals! I'm so excited to share this dessert-only Galentine's Day party bar cart with you all. I hosted a small Galentine's Day party over the weekend with a couple of my closest gal pals and had so much fun spending quality girl time and enjoying ALL the sweets. After all, no boys = no problem, am I right? The funny thing is that none of us are single but that shouldn't be an excuse to dress up and get together for a couple of hours of girl time. Valentine's day is just around the corner (it's in less than a week!), so this upcoming weekend would be perfect to throw a little Galentine's Day bash of your own alongside your favorite gals.
When I envisioned my set-up, I thought a super girly and typical Valentine's Day theme would be perfect. I styled everything around my bar cart, but you can use a table or a breakfast bar if that's more accessible to you. Since I decided on a dessert-only bar cart, I made sure to have lots of sweets on hand. Included on my bar cart was a two layer white cake, pink and white marshmallows, a varied assortment of macarons, and some chilled pink lemonade with matching paper straws. I also added my favorite love balloon, that I usually keep in my office, and layered a bunting banner along with two different sized white pom pom garlands to frame the bar cart. I picked up a pink balloon at Target that came with the cutest colorful tassel garland and it was HUGE, but it was perfect and added the right amount of color to this entire set up.
This was my first time throwing a little Galentine's Day bash for my gal pals and I'm obsessed. I also love how easy it is to customize a Galentine's Day party to your own liking. The possibilities are endless when it comes to throwing a fun gal pal bash, and it's so easy when you stick to your theme. DIY some of the decorations, can you say hello Pinterest? Or hit up the Target dollar spot and pick up some cute Valentine's Day goodies. Seriously, Target does no wrong. I found the pink balloon there, along with the fringe heart hanging board, and even that cute white cake stand. Take a couple of hours to decorate you space, bring in your treats & goodies and set everything up to your liking. You can also plan some fun activities and don't forget to take a million photos. They'll be so much fun to look back on! You also don't have to stick to a dessert-only theme. Can you imagine a breakfast bar? Complete with waffles, fresh fruit, and lots of OJ? Or even a full dinner party? As long as you all dress up and come together to celebrate your favorites ladies in your life, there's no wrong way to do it. As for me, I absolutely love how this dessert-only set up came together.
I hope you enjoyed this set up as much as I did. Are you planning a Galentine's Day bash for your favorite gal pals this weekend? Let me know if you are! I'd love to see your set up.
Thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by. See you back here on Friday for a new blogpost.
