This season, I've been loving dresses. Funny enough, I have always associated dresses with spring and summer because of warm weather but lately I've began to realize that dresses can be worn in any season. Fall and winter attire usually includes pants of some sort, whether it be denim, leggings, or trousers but wearing a dress in the colder fall/winter months is definitely possible. In my opinion, dresses flatter my body more than denim does and I feel more feminine and comfortable in my own skin while wearing them. The key to wearing dresses in fall and winter is to look for ones that have sleeves. Bell sleeves, floral lace sleeves, and long sleeves are my favorite right now. The sleeves provide extra material that keep you warm and cozy throughout the day. I live in Southern California, so I could get away with wearing dresses with bare legs and a pair of booties but if you live in colder weather you could always pair your favorite dress with tights, knee high boots, and a coat to keep you warm. This navy dress was something I couldn't pass up when I saw it hanging at Nordstrom. The floral lace called out to me and the fit and flare style is flattering to all body types. I love how the dress highlights the waistline and flares out at the bottom. I highly suggest this dress (linked down below along with other dresses that can work for fall/winter) if you're looking for a pretty dress to wear this season.
