HEALTHY HOMEMADE POPSICLES

Eating popsicles on a hot summer afternoon is one of my favorite childhood memories. My parents always had our freezer stocked with all sorts of sweet treats to cool off with after playing outside all day in the sun. Thinking back upon it always puts a smile on my face and then I realize I probably consumed way too much sugar as a kid. Now I'm a little more health conscious and try to limit my daily processed sugar intake so this summer I decided to make my own popsicles at home. Not only can I control what goes in them but also, the possibilities for homemade popsicles are endless! Acai berry has been extremely popular this summer, you'll see acai bowls everywhere along the coast in Southern California. This time around I decided to make acai blueberry banana popsicles. Not only are they so very healthy for you but they are yummy too! After you try one of these popsicles there is no going back!

Acai Blueberry Banana Popsicles

-1 packet of acai berry puree
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1 cup of bluberries
-2 bananas

Blend all ingredients together then pour into popsicle molds and place in freezer until frozen.
