Today, January 1st, marks the beginning of a new year. A new page has turned over and 364 pages lay underneath ready to be filled with all sorts of endeavors, experiences, and life lessons. I love celebrating new years because it always means a fresh start. We all have new goals and a list of things we want to have accomplished by the end of the year, right? Personally, I'm not one to set resolutions. I've come to learn that life always gets in the way and resolutions usually always lose their priority at the top of the list after a few months. With that being said, I do love to set goals and lifestyle changes. What I mean by that is, for example, I used to be the person who said, "This year, I'm going to be really fit and go to the gym everyday." What I learned from that is that it's not just about going to the gym, it's about training yourself to handle the endeavor throughout the entire year and passed that. I learned that I don't just want to have a beach body come summer but I want to be healthy and fit in the new year and throughout my entire life. This year, the goal I've set myself up to accomplish is to keep doing what I love to do. To keep blogging but maybe be a little more efficient about it. I believe there are areas in how I blog or use social media that I can be better at. I want to stick to my healthy lifestyle so I could feel strong and fit everyday, and I also want to be more kind, more happy, and encourage others to do the same. We have so much power in the way we feel and act in our daily lives that if we wanted to create positive change, we could do so with no problem. This year, I wish you nothing but the best.
