Hello there! Welcome back to the blog for another week full of fun! So it's officially summer and what better way to celebrate the beginning of this incredible season than with a trip to the happiest place on earth! Today, I'm starting off the week by sharing photos from my trip to Disneyland this past weekend. My husband and I woke up early Saturday morning, I was so excited I hardly slept. I always look forward to Disneyland, it's pretty much the only theme park I'm ever interested in visiting because of the characters, the attractions, and all the yummy treats! There is nothing that compares! As soon as we got there, we parked, rode the tram all the way to the entrance and bought our park hopper tickets. We were set! We met up with a few friends, and spent the whole day adventuring and exploring all of the sights and sounds of this magical place. It was so much fun! The first attraction we went to was Space Mountain. If you didn't know, there's this unspoken rule that this attraction is the absolute first place you go to for fast pass tickets because it is so popular and there is ALWAYS a huge wait time for it. To our surprise, it was not crowded AT ALL and we were able to board very quickly. It was pretty much the same way for the rest of the day, very short lines and almost no wait time. Unbelievable, right? I want to think everyone went to the beach instead of Disneyland because it was so hot! I didn't get a chance to check the temperature but it honestly felt like a hundred degree weather. (I'll share what I wore later this week) If you've ever been to Disneyland, one of my favorite sounds is when you get your ticket scanned at the entrance. That little chime brings me so much child-like joy and excitement! Walking into the park and through Main Street U.S.A. is always my favorite too! Getting a chance to look into the distance at the castle is so magical! My sweet husband bought me my first pair of ears at the Emporium and we later ran into this little nook right off of Main Street that had the cutest flower carts! Small world, right? I had to snap some photos! Disneyland is celebrating it's 60th anniversary, so the castle is decked out in blue ribbons to celebrate. We were able to ride our favorite attractions during the first half of the day then went over to California Adventure for Hollywood Tower of Terror, California Screamin', The Little Mermaid- Ariel's Undersea Adventure, and my all time favorite, Toy Story Midway Mania. My husband is always so competitive and we always have fun trying to get ahead and beat each other's scores. So far I have been completely victorious and he's never had a chance to beat me. Maybe next time I should go easy on him! (; Later that day, we crossed over back to Disneyland for a cool ride on Jungle Cruise and a famed Dole whip! So much pineapple goodness! If you ever find yourself at Disneyland, do yourself a favor and grab one of these delicious treats in front of the Tiki Room in Adventureland! You wont regret it. (: We then stopped to watch Paint The Night, a new electrical parade at night, and just a few moments after watching that, the firework show lit up the sky. It was honestly the most magical firework show I have EVER seen. All of the lights down Main Street were turned off, and projections that matched the music and fireworks covered the buildings. Tinker Bell flew above the castle, lanterns rose through the projections on the buildings while Rapunzel sang in the background, Nemo swam his way across the castle (such a brave little guy!), and it even SNOWED during the last bit when Queen Elsa took over. It was truly so magical! By the time the fireworks ended we were all completely exhausted and full of happy vibes, we decided to call it a day and went our separate ways. I was telling my hubby that this was probably the most magical and best Disney day we've had in a while. I'm so happy I'm able to share a few photos from our trip with you. I truly hope you enjoyed!
Thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by. I hope you have the most wonderful week ahead.
