A perfect summertime smoothie always begins with a magical combination of pineapple and coconut. Piña colada, anyone? This smoothie tastes just like a tropical dream, it's super yummy and healthy too! It's packed with healthy protein and collagen thanks to Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides. Did you know that protein boosts your metabolism? It also helps form lean muscles (with a constant workout regime) and is great for your hair, skin, and nails! I particularly love Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides because it's basically collagen which is great for not only your skin, hair, and nails, but it also does wonders for your bones and joints! It keeps them healthy and strong! It also promotes a healthy immune, digestive, and central nervous system, and is filled with probiotics. It's good on top of good on top of good and I love it! I used the vanilla & coconut water flavor today which is the perfect compliment to this tropical smoothie but they also make an unflavored one that I love to use in my green smoothies and protein shakes after my workout. I'm convinced this pineapple coconut smoothie is perfect for summertime, and I'm wondering if I could somehow use this recipe to make popsicles. For now, keep scrolling to find the recipe for this perfect poolside tropical dream smoothie.
It's no secret that I've always been a fan of a good smoothie. Shawn and I just recently purchased a new Vitamix and we've been using it everyday, safe to say we're smoothie enthusiasts! I love to have health packed smoothies that serve as a quick breakfast or snack option when necessary. In this particular smoothie I used frozen pineapple to make it a cold and bananas to make it smooth and creamy. The Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides adds a hint of vanilla flavor, sourced from Madagascar vanilla beans, which gives it a nice flavor profile. It's almost like an orange creamsicle if you substitute orange for piña colada and I'm not mad at it. It's so good!

Grab your best gal pals and make this tropical flavored smoothie at your next pool party. I love that it tastes decadent but it's filled with lots of good for you ingredients.
