Playing Favorites For Fall

Hey there! Anyone else feel like the weekend goes by way too fast? I always look forward to Friday but then when it gets here it seems like I blink and it's already Sunday night. I love weekends because it's my chance to get full hair and makeup ready and stand in front of my closet to choose something cute to wear. (Most weekdays you'll find me in cute athletic wear. Gotta get that workout in, right?) Anyway, now that fall is here, my ankle booties have come back to play. The booties I'm wearing today are my absolute favorite. They're so incredible versatile! I've worn them with everything from distressed denim shorts, regular denim jeans, a cute romper, and of course, so many cute dresses, just like I did today. I've always loved a good versatile piece.

You know when you have really special pieces in your wardrobe that you're absolutely in love with and just can't put them down. Well, I guess you can say this is a collection of all my current favorites. I bought these sunglasses a little less than a year ago and I quickly bought two extra pairs in case something happens to these. I also shared this exact same dress in this blogpost just about two months ago, but it's one of those clothing items that I couldn't wait to get back in. It's from American Eagle, has the cutest embroidered detail on the front and is quite flowy which makes it the perfect dress to twirl around in. I've currently been obsessed with this white crochet kimono jacket from Green Dragon that I also wore in this blogpost, and I love it for many reasons. I love the fact that it's longer but lightweight, making it the perfect layer to add atop a pretty dress. The crochet and fringe also give the outfit some added texture, which is always a plus. Like I said earlier, these booties are always my go to because they work well with everything from dresses, shorts, rompers, and regular denim. Reworking some of your favorite items in your closet and pairing them together works really well most times and is always my go to when I want to feel comfortable and confident.

Now that fall is here, I'm so excited to play with textures, add more layers, wear all the ankle boots, and do all the fall things. I'll still be reaching for some of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe but I'll be giving those a bit of a fall twist when styling. What are some of your favorite pieces that you're absolutely in love with and can't wait to style for fall? Feel free to let me know in the comments below.
