September 2016 Ipsy Unboxing

Happy Wednesday! I'm so happy to be back with a new blog post today. My hubby recently bought us a new camera to play with and I'm so excited for it! I actually used it to take all my photos for this blogpost and I'm so happy with the results! (Please let me know what you think of the photos!) 💗

Today, I'm sharing something I look forward to every month... happy mail! Getting home to a hot pink package from Ipsy on my doorstep is always so much fun! In case you're not familiar with Ipsy, it is a monthly beauty subscription that comes with personalized makeup and beauty products. Each month, every subscriber receives a makeup bag in a super cute pink package, filled with deluxe samples and full sized beauty products. I've been a subscriber for a little more than three years now and I have discovered so many great beauty products and brands that I probably couldn't live without now. I think it's super affordable, since it's only ten dollars a month with free shipping. I always look forward to trying out new makeup and beauty products and this month, I'm really excited about the contents of my bag.

Seraphine Botanicals // Guava Butter

This product instantly caught my eye. I love the peachy pink color it comes in, and the fact that it is so versatile! This product can be used three different ways! Swipe across the cheek straight from the tube and blend with your fingers or take some onto a synthetic blush brush to give you the perfect pop of color on the cheeks. It can also be picked up on a synthetic eyeshadow brush and swiped across the lid for a peachy pink hint of color. Swiped across the lip is my favorite of them all, and probably the way I'll be using this product. It gives off such a pretty finish and feels so hydrating and creamy!

It Cosmetics // Superhero Mascara

I love getting to try new mascara. My eyelashes are stick straight and I always have to make sure I curl them with an eyelash curler first. I then do one coat of waterproof mascara before I go ahead and layer other ones. The first coat of waterproof mascara allows my eyelashes to stay curled which then helps the other mascara to really shine. I've heard so much good stuff about this It Cosmetics Superhero Mascara. It's said to be lengthening and volumizing which is always something I look for in a mascara. So excited to try this out!

Trust Fund Beauty // Nail Polish

I don't remember if I've said this before, but I really love it when I get nail polish in my Ipsy. I'm pretty basic when it comes to my manis and always opt for a neutral color so I love when I receive a new polish in a cool color because it allows me to experiment and try out something new and different. This month I got a Trust Fund Beauty nail polish in the color Champagne Socialite and I am in love! It's a pretty bronze metallic, almost rose gold, that will pair really well with cozy knitted sweaters this fall and winter!

Living Proof // Perfect Hair Day

I can fully admit that I am the worst when it comes to applying product to my hair. When it comes down to it, I only ever reach for a leave in conditioner after every wash. However, I've heard really good things about Living Proof so this month, I'll be putting this 5-in-1 styling treatment to the test to see how it works on my hair.

Eau Thermale Avene // Hydrating Serum

This hydrating serum is specially made for dehydrated sensitive skin. Use it right after cleansing the skin and it will hydrate and enhance the effects of other skin care products!

Getting to try new makeup and beauty products every month is always something I look forward to and I love that Ipsy makes it really easy to experiment with new products without breaking the bank. If you're subscribed to Ipsy, what makeup or beauty product were you most excited for this month? I know I'm going to get lots of use from that Trust Fund Beauty polish, it's just so pretty!

Thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by,
