I'm a true believer that it's the little things in life that matter the most. Holding hands with your significant other while taking a long walk in the evening. Feeling the sea breeze caress your face. Laughing with your friends until your sides hurt. A hot cup of tea to warm your hands and your heart on a cold day. Listening to your favorite song come up on the radio. Catching the clock at 11:11, just in time to make a wish. Feeling the warmth of the sun on your skin. Spending quality time with your best friend over coffee and pastries. Feeling the wind in your hair. Lighting your favorite candle and filling your home with its scent. Fresh bouquets of flower. My favorite one this week.... waking up on a Sunday morning, only to find my husband with a bouquet of red roses waiting for me... just because he loves me. This sweet gesture put a smile on my face and made for the perfect beginning to the day. Nowadays, we tend to wake up and rush through our everyday life. I'm completely guilty of this, the moment I open my eyes I begin to mentally create a list of everything that I need to accomplish before the end of the day. Before I even get out of bed, I'm already stressed out. Sunday was an exception, I woke up to my husband with a fresh bouquet of just because roses in hand. I got up, got dressed, and proceeded to go out to breakfast and took a moment to enjoy the little things, like having breakfast with my husband on a cloudy 70 degree day in Southern California with a fresh bouquet of red roses in my tote bag. Pure bliss.
The best things in life are indeed the little things, friends. Thank for reading.
