Hi besties! Happy Monday! I'm so happy to be back from the weekend and just in time to share another outfit. Shooting these are honestly my favorite! This past weekend, my husband took me to a lovely Japanese garden here in Southern California. I was so excited to go and I couldn't stop thinking about all the pink cherry blossom trees there would be! It would be perfect for an outfit post! I got hair and makeup ready and choose to wear this perfect white lace fit and flare dress, I thought it would look really cute against all the pink for spring! We gathered all our tech.. phones, DSLR camera, batteries, laptop, etc. and jumped in our car. I was so excited! After driving for what seemed like hours because of traffic, we finally got to our destination. By this time, I was incredibly excited and dreaming of all the pink flower trees that would soon make their appearance on my Instagram gallery. We got out of the car, walked through the front gates into the Japanese Garden and to my surprise... it was ALL green and there were no flowers in sight. I was so confused and now thinking back on it, it was a little funny! Where were all the pink blossom trees I was dreaming about? We still shot the outfit, and it is very spring inspired (did you see the detail on that dress? It's absolutely lovely!), but I'm still a little sad there were no flowers in sight. The garden was absolutely delightful though, there was a large pond filled with so many colorful koy fish swimming around, a pretty bridge that took you from one side of the garden to the other, and a walkway that led through the entirety of the garden and back around to the entrance. Even though I was sad about the flower situation, I didn't let that stop me from having a great time and going for a stroll around the garden hand in hand with my husband. How did you spend your weekend?
Thank you for taking a moment of your day to stop by,
P.S. The dress I'm wearing is so pretty, just look at the hemline! It's less than $25 and comes in three spring colors! I linked it below if you want to take a look. (:
