8 Beauty Products You Need to Survive Winter

Oh! Hey there, gal pals! I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I know today is Monday, maybe not the most fun day of the week, BUT I am so excited because we get to begin a brand new, fresh week that will be filled with so many new opportunities and learning experiences. For example, recently I've been working on bettering my photography skills and I have a couple of shoots scheduled this week to practice my settings and get used to shooting with an actual DSLR camera. P.S. Would it be too much to say I absolutely love how the photos in today's post turned out? Sorry if it is! πŸ™ˆ  Anyhow, today I'm sharing a few of my favorite beauty products that I am LOVING this winter. Since winter can be extremely harsh on our skin, nails, lips, and face, I've been using a few products that have been helping me feel a little better about this colder climate that simply said, isn't too skin friendly. I broke it down into four categories below and am sharing my favorite beauty products for each. Make sure to let me know in the comments down below if you've tried any of these beauty products and your current personal favorites for winter too!

This Maracuja Oil from Tarte is honestly so good. I love how versatile it is, it can be used for so many different things! Currently, my favorite way to use this product is on my cuticles right before I go to sleep. I dot each of my cuticles with a little oil and massage. When I wake up, my cuticles are soft, a lot less irritated, and look so much healthier than they did the night before!

Am I the only one that suffers from chapped lips year round? Winter only seems to make it worse, and it's so unpleasant when my lips are dry and cracked, specially when it's time to wear a pretty lipstick. The best way I've found to keep my lips soft and moisturized is with a good lip scrub and treatment. I actually discovered these lip products from Hanalei through my Ipsy subscription and instantly fell in love. The lip scrub is gentle and gets rid of all the flakiness and the lip treatment is so good! It moisturizes my lips without feeling heavy or sticky. The only downside is that the lip treatment doesn't have a lip applicator, which means you have to apply the product with a lip brush or your finger, making it a little inconvenient. However, on the plus side, the packaging is super cute. Who can say no to pink?

01. One word. Glamglow. Okay, I'm a little late to the game but now I know why this beauty product is so popular! It works wonders! And leaves my skin feeling so pampered and refreshed after using it.

02. I love sheet masks! These treatment sheet masks from Pur~lisse always leave my skin feeling so moisturized, which is a perfect way to treat my skin after a long day of being outdoors in the cold.

03. Before I mask, I make sure to exfoliate my skin so that I reap all the benefits. After cleansing my face, I use Dermalogica's Daily Superfoliant to purify and remove environmental toxins from my skin. Clean skin = happy me!

04. I like to end my beauty routine by applying a moisturizer. This one by Pur~lisse has been one that I reach for daily. I love to use it in the mornings before stepping out the door because it's light and has SPF! It's like a 2 in 1 product and I love it! Wearing SPF isn't just for summer, if you're going to be outdoors during this time of year, the sun can still harm your complexion. Which reminds me, I really need to pick up another one of these awesome moisturizers since I'm nearly out and still so obsessed.

If you're anything like me, you're pretty excited for warmer weather to make it's way back into our everyday life. Maybe you're daydreaming of sipping piΓ±a coladas and snacking on fresh coconut by the pool or at the beach? I know I am! πŸ™‹πŸ»  Which brings me to my favorite skin product that I've been loving these days. Me! Bath's ultra-rich body crΓ¨me in the scent toasted coconut & lime smells just like summer and is definitely helping my dry skin feel hydrated and oh-so soft!

I'm saying goodbye to dry winter skin with all these lovely products. Have you personally tried any of these? Like I said above, feel free to let me know which products you've been reaching for this winter to keep your skin nice and hydrated. As always, thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by. See you back here on Wednesday for a brand new post.

Wishing you a wonderful week ahead!
