Happy Thanksgiving eve, friends! Thanksgiving is upon us and I could not be more excited. This year, to welcome in this wonderful holiday, I decided to weave together a leaf crown from leaves I picked up a few days ago. Every season, I love to be inspired by nature to create a crown out of natural materials that compliments the season. Last year, I created a bit of a fuller leaf crown (see last year's leaf crown here) and this year I used a different type of leaf to make more of a simpler crown that showcases the leaves a little more. Thanksgiving is one my favorite holidays of the year because I love the act of giving thanks and being grateful.

The simple fact that families gather together with grateful hearts to share a meal is one of the reasons why Thanksgiving is one of my favorite days of the year. Getting to see all the faces of my loved ones around the dinning room table gathered together is such a special sight and truly warms my heart. It's a day dedicated to giving thanks and being appreciative of every blessing that has come our way. Reminiscing and thinking back upon the year is something that a lot of us don't tend to do too often. I know I always get caught up on my to-do list, running every which way to make sure I cross everything off that never ending list every day. Thanksgiving is very special to me because it's a day where I love to just slow down and enjoy my surroundings. It's a day where I love to spend quality time with friends and family, whether it be by helping set the table or preparing a favorite dish. My favorite reason why it's one of my favorite holidays... because it's a day of thanksgiving.

There's always something to be thankful for and this year, my heart is filled with thanksgiving. I'm thankful for the fact that I have such a loving and caring husband who supports me and helps me in any way that he can. I'm thankful for being able to dedicate myself to what I truly love, to be able to create and pour myself into For All Things Pretty, and I'm so so thankful for you. I'm thankful for all the comments, hearts, and for the few minutes every other day that you spend reading and enjoying my content. It truly means so much. This year has been more than incredible and I'm so grateful for every opportunity that has come my way. Every situation, whether favorable or unfavorable, has only allowed me to learn from it and become a stronger individual.

On this Thanksgiving holiday, my only wish is that you enjoy this special day. I hope you're surrounded by loved ones, friends and family, and enjoy their presence. This year, Shawn and I will be traveling to Central California to spend the holiday at his grandparents and I know it's going to be very special. As always thank you so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by. Make sure to let me know in the comments what you're most grateful for this Thanksgiving Day.

Wishing you the happiest of holidays,
