Happy Monday! Welcome back to the blog. It's no secret that I absolutely love spending time at the beach, specially during the hot summer months. Every weekend during summer, I look forward to jumping in the car and heading to the beach for some rest and relaxation time, also known as r&r time. It's my favorite time to catch up on a book, take a well deserved nap after a long week, and simply spend quality time with my hubby. After long busy days from Monday through Friday and never ending to-do lists, I always look forward to beach trips. As of late, I have been more conscious of the damage that sun rays have on our skin, so I'm always on top of applying sunscreen and have been on the hunt for a cute floppy hat. I recently came across a super cute and simple DIY that completely stopped me in my tracks. I was reading one of my favorite blogs, Me & Mr. Jones, and Haley shared an easy DIY for this adorable floppy hat. Since I'm always strapped for time, it's rare for me to do any sort of DIY. That's not to say I don't love to DIY, I do love a good one! But it definitely has to be extra special and this one sure is. I've seen these conversational hats everywhere this summer, but somehow never picked one up because they can be a little pricy. The one I made cost less than $20, only needed a few materials, and I spent a combined hour and a half from start to finish to complete it. I also love that it's completely customizable. I chose to display the words "beach babe" on mine to keep the beach theme going and I really love how it turned out. Click here to see Haley's super cute and easy DIY for this floppy beach hat. Let me know if you decide to make your own DIY floppy hat this summer. I'd love to see how yours turn out.

Thank you so so much for taking a moment of your day to stop by.

I truly hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead,
