BECCA Ultimate Coverage Foundation Swatches | Holy Grail Foundation

BECCA Ultimate Coverage Foundation

All I ever want in a foundation is a full coverage natural finish that doesn't break me out and works well with my oily skin. Is that too much to ask for? One of the hardest things in the makeup realm (besides perfecting the cat eye in my opinion), is finding your own personal holy grail foundation. I can't even begin to tell you how many different foundations I've tried over the past decade, each time not being satisfied with the results.. well, except for now! I have finally found the one, the one foundation that gives me full coverage complete with a beautiful natural finish and doesn't leave me looking oily after a couple of hours of application. I've found my holy grail foundation and I couldn't be more excited about it!! Let me tell you why...

BECCA Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder

A couple of weeks ago, I came home one day to find a care package from Becca Cosmetics complete with five shades from their Ultimate Coverage Foundation collection (there are 20 shades in total!) along with their new Velvet Blurring Primer, The One Perfecting Brush, and their new Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder in the shade Pink Haze. I've already been a HUGE fan of their soft light blurring setting powder in the natural golden hour shade, I use it every single time I do my makeup so I was very excited to try this new pink powder. I'm not going to lie, the pink shade had me very intrigued. I use it to set my foundation and concealer and it works so well!! I've been testing this combo out every time I do my makeup for a couple of weeks now and I'm completely over the moon excited about it. Here's what I do to achieve a flawless full coverage look:

Step One: Softly dab a pea sized amount of Velvet Blurring Primer to entire face for a perfect pore blurring finish! I'm almost tempted to use this on its own on no makeup days. It's that good!

Step Two: One pump of the Ultimate Coverage Foundation on The One Perfecting Brush is enough! I used to use up to two pumps of my other foundation to receive the same amount of coverage! This foundation is full coverage BUT it doesn't feel like it, it's light and breathable and covers imperfections, redness, hyperpigmentation, and uneven texture! I've been breaking out so much recently (pregnancy hormones) and this foundation makes my skin look flawless on camera! No need for a Snapchat filter! Haha! Plus the brush is so perfect! It blends the foundation beautifully and very very quickly! I've never had a brush quite like this one but now that I've tried it, it's definitely a must have! It quickly has become my favorite way to apply my foundation.

Step Three: After foundation I apply my undereye concealer and set it with a smaller brush and the Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder in the shade Pink Haze. I've found that this shade really brightens my underage area. I then take my favorite kabuki brush, I use Becca's Soft Kabuki Brush, and set my entire face with the Soft Light Blurring Setting Powder, you can also use The One Perfecting Brush to do this.

The end result is vibrant, healthy, flawless looking skin. Just my favorite!!
