Hey there gal pals! I hope your weekend was a lovely one! Mine was filled with painting pumpkins, searching for a leaf cookie cutter (three stores down and still no luck), and taking walks with my hubby every evening to watch the sunset. It was such a relaxing weekend.

I wore this look to the latter and it was a delight! A light sweater and the cutest button front skirt are the perfect combination to go for a walk to catch the sunset (or spend your weekend in). The sweater might be light but it still kept me warm when there was a slight breeze and this faux suede skirt I picked up from was the perfect bottom to pair it with. I've seen these types of skirts everywhere, all over Instagram and Pinterest so you can just imagine how excited I was to get my hands on this one

Skirts are probably my favorite for fall, might I dare say even more so than dresses? I love how versatile they are too. They can be dressed up with a cute top and a pair of lace-up heels or dressed down with a tee, a light jacket, and some sneakers. The possibilities when it comes to styling a cute skirt for fall are endless. When looking for your perfect fall skirt, try choosing a skirt that comes in season appropriate fabrics, like velvet, curduroy, denim, or faux suede like the one I'm wearing today. This a-line button front skirt is so popular this season and for good reason too. The one I picked up is oh so soft and is so easy to wear. If you live in a warmer area, throw on a light sweater and a pair of cute heels like I did. If you live in slightly cooler temps pair your skirt with a thicker knitted sweater and over the knee boots. I think I'll definitely be trying out that combo once Southern California feels just a tad bit colder.

I say bring on all the cute skirts for fall! I truly love how versatile they are which makes them so easy to style. I've linked a couple of cute skirts from SheIn down below that would be perfect for this season. (If you do decide to pick one up make sure you look at the measurements carefully.) Sweater weather can't possibly be any better with so many cute available skirts! Are you excited to wear cute skirts this season?
