Hey there gal pals! Only 17 days until Christmas! Eeep! In the midst of December, and all things festive, my favorite thing to wear this time of year are knitted sweaters. They're comfy and cozy, what's not to love? I love lounging at home with them on (always say yes to cute and comfy) and also love wearing them out for a full day of errands, like I did today. Living in Southern California, you can definitely wear the typical sweater weather look which is to complete the ensemble with your favorite pair of denim and some darling boots, but the sun was out and shining so I decided to pair my cozy sweater with a gray skirt and my favorite sneakers. After all, a full day of Christmas shopping requires both style and comfort.

I've been playing with unexpected accessories lately and this silver purse from Poverty Flats by rian has captured my heart. Can we just take a moment to admire how cute it looks when it catches the sun? It looks iridescent and I'm living for it! (By the way, it's currently 40% off at Nordstrom which makes it less than $35! Believe me when I tell you, you need this silver purse in your life. It's so cute!) I've always been a fan of smaller cross body purses as they are super convenient and easy to carry, specially when shopping because they allow you to carry all your essentials without tying up your hands which means more shopping bags! Whenever I go Christmas shopping, I like to wear the comfiest shoes I own, since I know it'll probably be a long day of walking. One of my favorite trends this year has been wearing sneakers with any look to give off an athleisure vibe. It allows the entire look to have a more relaxed and casual feel. Now, what is more relaxed and casual than a denim jacket? That's exactly what I thought when I pulled my classic denim jacket out of my closet to complete this look. It brings everything together seamlessly for a casual and relaxed, Southern California sweater weather ensemble.

Sweater weather in Southern California sure does look a little different than anywhere else. Luckily, all my accessories, like my silver purse and sneakers have the same effect everywhere. They're cute, convenient, and make a statement. (I've linked all my outfit details down below for easy shopping access.) Are you a fan of sweater weather? Let me know your opinion down below.

Thank you for taking a moment of your day to stop by. Happy Wednesday!
