Oh, hello Monday! Monday's can be a little tough, specially after a fun filled weekend! I don't know about you, but I'm soaking in as much of summer as possible. The countdown to fall has begun and with only 37 days left until a new season rolls in, I'm trying to enjoy every moment. To make Monday a little less drab, I'm sharing a cute and colorful outfit today. When I think of my summer wardrobe, all I want to wear are fun and flowy dresses. Not only do they help me keep cool on a hot summer day, but they also are so easy to style.

White for summer has always been a yes in my book, add colorful tassels and you've got my full attention. This white embroidered tassel dress from Makemechic.com is currently my newest dress obsession of the season. It's light, airy, and perfectly festive for summer. When my hubby and I went out to shoot this look, I didn't realize (until it was too late) that I had left my brown tortoise shell sunnies at home. All I had in the car were my black sunnies, and even though they wouldn't be my first choice for this specific look, I made it work. Almost a #bloggerfail ? πŸ™ˆ  When I ordered this dress, I decided to go with size small and even though it makes all my summer wishes come true, I feel like it might be a little too short. Word of advice, if you do go ahead and order this for yourself, try to go up a size. I kept the fun going with this cute little dress and paired it with my fringe booties. There's something about fringe and tassels paired together that makes my heart flutter. It's a fun combo that can practically work in any setting. And because of all the color and detail, this dress requires minimal jewelry. Throw on some bracelets, and you're pretty much good to go. Also, can we take a moment to talk about those sleeves? Not only do they feature a longer sleeve with a slit, but they tie with even more tassels into what becomes a bell sleeve. Totally dreamy, right! Now you know what I mean when I say this is my newest dress obsession of the season.

Tassels and fringe have been an on going trend for summer that I'm totally on board with. What trends have you been loving lately?

Thank you for taking a moment of your day to stop by. See you on Wednesday for a brand new post.

MakeMeChic gifted me with this super cute dress, but it is not a sponsored post and all opinions are my own.
